If you point the telescope towards the skies this Christmas Eve, we will be presented the incredible views.
Instead of Santa Claus and reindeer-reindeer fly distribute prizes, but an asteroid will pass Earth at night.
The asteroid known as 2003 SD220 was discovered in 2003 by Lowell Observatory Near-Earth Object and has a length of about 2 km.
It may sound a bit unnerving when knowing an asteroid will cross our planet, but mankind on Earth do not have to feel anxious. Because of these celestial bodies will be within 10 million kilometers from the Earth.
However, according to NASA the existence of the asteroid will be increasingly closer to humans planet when back across the Earth in the year 2018.
"It is one of five approach this object within a period of 12 years," said NASA.

Although the distance is far, the stargazers that night could see the asteroid if the night sky in bright conditions.
But not everyone seems to believe this story. A conspiracy theory reveals that the celestial bodies to the Earth it probably is something more lethal.
Doomsdayers or people who believe in the Day of Judgment believed that a planet known as Nibiru-- or X-- planet would collide with Earth in December. A thought that has emerged over the past two decades.
At the end of 1990s a woman who claimed to have abducted an alien says that the aliens have planted something in her head to warn of impending doomsday.
At the time, he claimed the celestial bodies will collide with the Earth in 2003. But because it does not happen, she immediately corrected predictions to 2012. And again mistaken.
Despite a repeated anticlimactic, online conspiracy theory community feel confident prediction that women would arrive this month.
In 2012, NASA has denied these myths through its website, in order to appease mankind.
"The story of Nibiru and other planets is a hoax that spread through the Internet. There are no facts that corroborate against those claims. If Nibiru or Planet X really exists, and is heading for Earth, astronomers would have to monitor its movement since decades ago, and will be visible to the naked eye," wrote NASA.
Group of conspiracy theorists known as Brussels Sprouts do not believe the explanation released by NASA.
"We presented the biggest lie in the history of mankind. Maybe that accusation is great, because the competition is fierce," written through their blogs.
