The botanical garden was built on a land area of 143.5 hectares in Group Stakeholder Forest (KPH) East Banyumas. This new tourist attractions have a typical mountain flora in Java with a total collection of 2,637 plant specimens. Consists of 571 species, 394 genera and 196 tribes. Overall, the construction of the Botanical Gardens Baturraden will run for 10 years at a cost of 300 billion.
Central Java Governor Ganjar Pranowo said, Botanical Gardens Baturraden this is a vehicle that is managed by the Central Java Province. Now, a few things have been prepared, such as physical development, collection management, greenhouse, compost, orchid house and home nurseries.
