Two trainees at Moody Air Force Afghanistan Air Force Base in Valdosta, Georgia, was reported missing. However, US military officials stressed there were no indications that show the two of them could be a threat.
"Both of them are listed in the squadron of fighters to-81. They've been in Moody since February 2015 and their arrival to the US had been scheduled since a year ago," said the Air Force in a statement as quoted by ABC, Thursday, December 10, 2015.
According to the statement, both trained with the American military counterparts during the 2015's and never show any irregularities.
"There is a process that is coordinated among federal agencies to look for individuals as soon as possible and they are trained to be the appropriate authority," the AU said.
Loss incidents trainees from Afghanistan as this is not the first case. In 2014 ago, one Afghan soldier disappeared in Massachusetts and found're trying to sneak up on the Canadian border.
The second is the missing military pilot training program participants from Afghanistan and maintenance personnel who will fly combat aircraft A-29 Super Tucano.
During the training, they were always together nine pilots and 14 maintenance crew personnel other Moody this year. They are scheduled to graduate from the program next week and will be sent back to Afghanistan.
