South Korean cultural exchange with Indonesia.
South Korea and Indonesia cooperation |
In order to introduce and cultural exchanges between South Korea and Indonesia, Embassy of South Korea to Indonesia to hold evening events and suave familiarity with Indonesian citizens.
South Korean Ambassador to Indonesia, Cho Taiyoung, admitted excited to introduce the culture of the country of origin and to learn more about Indonesia.
"We would like to introduce our culture ranging from singing, musical instruments, art to culinary. We want to introduce the culture of South Korea to many people and also exchange of Indonesian culture," said Taiyoung in the building of the Embassy of South Korea, on Thursday night, December 10, 2015.
Taiyoung said it wants to understand more about each other in Indonesia. He was told, Koreans are also interested in the many cultures of Indonesia and angklung is one art that is most preferred by South Koreans.
"Angklung is very popular in Korea. I was amazed by the diversity of Indonesia. I really like songs of Indonesia," he added.
He was talking at least about 10 Indonesian songs he has memorized such as Indonesia Raya, Satu Nusa Satu Bangsa, Jangan Menyerah, Sakitnya Tuh Disni and Goyang Dumang. "Cultural exchange is supported by Indonesian artists and designers, painters, sculptors, musicians and dancers. Through them, Korea would like to know more about Indonesia."
In this occasion, the Korean Embassy invites Lyn music group consisting of five personnel. They are a group of Korean traditional music player that carries a wide variety of music such as traditional music, pop, dance, folksong and others. Lyn also present tonight Indonesian song that is my homeland.
