Google and Ford are forming a partnership to build a self-driving car (car otonomos). Thus reportedly Yahoo Autos, Wednesday (12/23/2015).
The partnership is scheduled to be announced on the mat Consumer Electronics Show (CES) held in Las Vegas next month, according to the report, citing anonymous sources.
The joint venture company (JV) that will create a company that builds cars otonomos using Google technology. The company will legally separate from Ford.
Google is currently testing dozens of cars otonomos shaped pot on public roads in Mountain View, California and Austin. The technology giant began struggling with the car otonomos since a few years ago.
As for Ford, along with many other famous car manufacturers, such as Volvo and Nissan, are also working on otonomos car technology, like that produced by Uber and Tesla.
In addition, Google has recently hired a Ford veteran to head the car group otonomosnya and Alan Mulally, Ford's former CEO, joined Google's board of directors in 2014.
The experts say, will take many years before the car otonomos actually fully available to the general public, in connection with a variety of things, including regulatory and legal issues unresolved.
